Monk Fruit Corp uses world-class agricultural systems combined with environmentally-friendly farming and processing methods along the entire path, from seedling to finished product. We are the only company in the world with in-house capability for the entire supply chain, from plant breeding to finished product. An experienced horticultural team provides on-site guidance at the orchards, then supervises the harvest and delivery of vine-ripened fruit to our state-of-the-art processing facility nearby. It is “hands-on” at every stage. This level of control and supervision ensures the quality of the fruit and reliability of supply, while fulfilling our mission to support sustainable agriculture and fair trade practices.
Natural Process
Monk Fruit Corp has perfected a simple process to capture the natural low-calorie sweetness of monk fruit while maintaining its pure fruit goodness. Here’s how it works:
The fruit is crushed to release its natural, sweet juice.
The crushed fruit is mixed with hot water to make a sweet infusion.
The infusion is filtered, leaving a clear, sweet juice.
The infusion is filtered to leave a clear solution that contains the sweet antioxidants and a small amount of natural fruit sugar, creating a delicious, naturally-sweet, low-calorie food ingredient. Our monk fruit extract is made by further separating the fruit sugars from the sweet antioxidants which are then spray dried as a powder.
Grower Network
Monk Fruit Corp has contract growers in 22 counties of Guangxi Province with a total area under cultivation that is significantly larger than any of our competitors, while the company is also the world’s largest processor of monk fruit.
Certifications
Monk Fruit Corp was the first company to attain BRC and FSSC 22000 certification for monk fruit ingredients. These certifications are accredited by the prestigious Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Monk Fruit Corp also has certification for HACCP, OU-KOSHER, and HALAL.

Monk Fruit Corp has successively cultivated and registered four superior varieties of monk fruit. We are continuing research into the genetics of higher yielding varieties of monk fruit with economically valuable traits and will in the future be incorporating this knowledge into our plant breeding program.
We have been granted composition of matter patents for our monk fruit extract product in the UK, EU, China, Japan, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Australia, and have patents pending in the USA. We also have process patents for our monk fruit juice concentrate and concentrated monk fruit infusion products in the UK and EU, and patents pending for these products in the USA and China.
