Supply Chain

Monk Fruit Corp. uses world-class agricultural systems combined with environmentally-friendly farming and processing methods along the entire path, from seedling to finished product. We are the only company in the world with in-house capability for the entire supply chain, from plant breeding to finished product. An experienced horticultural team provides on-site guidance at the orchards, then supervises the harvest and delivery of vine-ripened fruit to our state-of-the-art processing facility nearby. It is “hands-on” at every stage. This level of control and supervision ensures the quality of the fruit and reliability of supply, while fulfilling our mission to support sustainable agriculture and fair trade practices.

Natural Process

Monk Fruit Corp. has perfected a simple process to capture the natural low-calorie sweetness of monk fruit while maintaining its pure fruit goodness. Here’s how it works:

The fruit is crushed to release its natural, sweet juice.

The crushed fruit is mixed with hot water to make a sweet infusion.

The infusion is filtered, leaving a clear, sweet juice.

The infusion is filtered, leaving a clear, fresh juice that contains the sweet antioxidants and a small amount of natural fruit sugar. Our monk fruit juice product retains the fruit sugars to make a delicious low-calorie fruit juice while our monk fruit extract is made by separating the fruit sugars from the sweet antioxidants which are then spray dried as a fruit extract powder.

The company owns 26,000m3 of refrigerated storage and 8,000m2 of plant. The company has existing processing capacity for over 30,000 tons of fresh monk fruit with equivalent capacity in its tissue culture seedling production centre of 4 million seedlings per year. Today Guilin GFS Monk Fruit Corp is the world’s largest supplier of processed monk fruit ingredients with over 60% market share.

Grower Network

Monk Fruit Corp has contract growers in 22 counties of Guangxi with a total area under cultivation that is more than twice the size of the nearest competitor. The company is also the world’s largest processor of monk fruit, with annual processing capacity for over 30,000 tons of fresh monk fruit.
